Awake Asleep
Today I passed by Steve Job's clone
Peeping at a Korean market, which
Was mobbed by flowers at the windows
With some kind of a craving, I imagine he ogled

Ran away from a man with an oversized forehead, that
Wouldn't fit into any (airplane's) compartment
He wore a tuxedo sitting on a decade-old park bench
Was staring at my trainers

(Or these cardboard socks)
His forehead may have bulged.

Climbed into a metal box of magic
That takes you closer to heaven (call it the sky)
Its voodoo of electricity failed
Three meters up from Gaia

Then the tears came
I let the torrent of salt sweep away the static
Grinding out of a possessed juk
Classified
Within every candlelit letter that gets me through the night
There are words of wild hope that push me beyond the dark
My state of mind has been classified, for a while
But love cannot, may not, evolve into science

Electric parades of light in the sky they dance
A show shared with one and only one, eyes bright as the futures I face
Chestnut hair piled up so comically, united with that brilliant face
She's one more soul who ignites the paths I walk

Sitting on the back of a hill only twenty people know exist
As the fireworks liberate their fervent stress
Looking down I can Imagine as John Lennon did, next to
The lone girl who lets m
Kingly Ghosts
I

Bound to the edge of a cliff reaching out
En route for waves of the night, a foreign leaf
Gliding through forests, some fool in a dream

A mind that declares the air Everest thin
But you know it's a ghost, the shadow of fate
Leave the Alps far behind, enter nowhere tonight

With a sentient heart that will leave today
Just drop out of the madness, slip out of sight
Slide onto the grass, you are an unmade sheet

Pay no heed to faraway mountain sounds
Lift your telescope to a riddle that awaits you
Remain alive and well until you can shine that bright

Don't let your petals lilt even as you scream and you sigh

this is beautiful and mysterious! :) is the orange half-circle the sun? the blue green below it reminds me of Earth, and to the left, DNA. upside down tree... a world turned and twisted? ...my speculations :blushes:
